Cheap quick ways to relax
In honor of the New Year I wanted to share my top 3 ways to de-stress and relax.
1. This year I've become a frequent tea drinker. I love loose teas and bagged teas. My favorites this week are the Tazo Passion Tea (I purchased on Amazon) and Ivy's Tea "OG Chai" (www.ivystea.com).
2. I've always loved candles but never really appreciated the healing qualities of their various aromas. My favorite fragrances right now are peppermint (vapor is sometimes inhaled to treat symptoms of colds and cough), cinnamon ( smelling cinnamon is enough to wake you up and improve your cognitive
function) & lavender (helps with things like insomnia, anxiety & stress).
3. My drug store whirlpool. Simply add 2 cups of epsom salt to 1 cup of foaming bubble bath, put on some nature sounds & tie up your hair, you're on a one way ride to relaxation station. Enjoy
